In July, the city council voted to shut down the needle exchange

A judge extended a temporary restraining order Friday to allow a needle exchange in Atlantic City to stay open at least until December. The people in charge of the Oasis needle exchange said they are relieved by the judge’s decision and hope the center continues to operate for the entirety of the proceedings of the case. In July, the city council voted in favor of shutting down the exchange.
