My film is really you know, it's my love letter to journalism, but it's also a cry for help.

I think we're living in a time when the news industry itself is going through a massive crisis.

In that people have over a period of time, begun to not trust the news.

And of course, you can sort of say that, you know, there are some bad players.

There have been some incidents which have inspired this distrust.

But there's also a massive disinformation campaign against the news that is operating in many countries across the world.

I can tell you that this crisis is going to worsen.

In the coming years, A.I.

is going to transform our lives and it's going to transform our information landscape.

Amongst the frontiers of this transformation is going to be news.

Our news is going to change forever in the years to come, it's going to be hit by the iceberg of A.I.

And it's absolutely essential that we try and build better systems of news today, otherwise we'll be in trouble.

I am really hoping that people will watch this film, understand just how extraordinarily difficult it is becoming to be able to do news [today] for people who are trying to make the news better.

And we'll hopefully co-evolve systems together, which are better than what we have today.

If my film can somehow make them feel responsible and involved again towards the news with the news, I'd be very happy.
