Students will examine the structures of the Base Ten and Base Two place value systems.

In this challenging math lesson, students will examine the structure of the Base Ten decimal place value system and use these patterns to develop an understanding of the Base Two binary place value system. They will learn to express number values in multiple forms, including as exponents and as graphs, and will extend this understanding to applications in Computer Science.
