I'm Jamie Chester, and I'm here to help you get moving for the next eight minutes.
You'll be surprised at what these moments of moving can do for you and the rest of your family.
So you can stay active and healthy at home.
So go ahead, get up and let's start moving.
All right, friends, today we are going to play one of my favorite games.
This game is called Hungry Fox.
So in this game, I'm going to be the hungry fox.
You are going to be all the little baby bunnies.
All right.
And this fox is hungry.
So you have to watch out.
What's gonna happen is I would like you to take five steps away from your screen.
So you're gonna be nice, backed up, far away as you can be.
Not too far, 'cause you still wanna hear me and see me.
But you're going to take five, maybe six, maybe seven steps away, all right.
So I'm gonna take my steps.
One, two, three, four, five.
And now what's gonna happen is I'm going to stay right here, but you are going to say, what time is it, hungry fox?
And we'll say that all together, all right.
What time is it, hungry fox?
And then I'm going to say a time.
I'm going to say a number, and whatever number I say, that's how many baby bunny steps you have to take.
And in this game, you're going to get closer, and closer, and closer, and closer, and closer to me, to your screen, all right.
And then, you don't know when, but when I say lunchtime, you're going to, with your tip toes, safely, right, as safe as you can be.
Quietly, not too loud.
You're gonna try, and with your little tip toes, your baby bunny feet, you're gonna tip toe back.
And try and get back to where you started.
And if you make it, great job, we will try again.
If you're ready, say oh yeah.
If you're ready, touch your knees.
All right, let's make sure we're ready by doing a little stretch.
Reach down to your toes.
Reach up high to the ceiling.
Stretch your legs out like this.
Move to one side.
Come back up, move to the other side.
How about before we play we practice with some baby bunny hops.
Let's see if you can hop five times.
One, two, three, four, five.
All right, that was good.
Let's see if we can hop 10 times.
One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, 10.
That was good.
But you know what?
I think we can hop 20 times.
Let's try it, ready?
One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20.
All right.
I think you are ready to hop, you're ready to be the baby bunnies.
So go to your spot.
Take about five, maybe six, maybe seven steps away.
I'm gonna take my steps.
All right.
Let's say it all together.
What time is it, hungry fox?
It is 2:00.
Take two baby bunny steps.
Just like this, one, two.
All right, let's try it again.
What time is it, hungry fox?
It is 4:00.
Let's take the steps together.
One, two, three, four.
All right, we're getting closer.
Let's say it together.
What time is it, hungry fox?
It is 6:00.
One, two, three, four, five, six.
All right.
Let's say it together.
What time is it, hungry fox?
Hm, hm.
I smell some baby bunnies.
It's lunchtime!
Let's go back, go back, go back.
All right, did you make it back?
I see some friends still getting back to where they need to be.
If you made it back, go whew.
All right, let's try one more time.
All right, let's say it together.
What time is it, hungry fox?
Let's count by fives this time.
So it's 5:00.
And I'm gonna hop, so you can hop or you can take your steps.
Let's do five together.
One, two, three, four, five.
All right, let's try again.
Say it all together.
What time is it, hungry fox?
This time it is 10:00 'cause we're counting by fives.
We did five, now we're doing 10.
Let's take another, let's take 10 steps, all right.
It's gonna be tricky.
One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, 10.
All right, let's do one more.
What time is it, hungry fox?
Hmm.
You know what time it is?
It's lunchtime!
Ah!
Ah!
Whew, we made it!
Great job, friends.
Before we go, we are going to take our nice calm, deep breath.
So we're going to pretend that we're baby bunnies still, or in a field of flowers.
Walk around, pick up that flower, smell that flower, (Jamie inhales) and blow off the petals.
(Jamie blows) Oh no, all the petals are off.
Let's find another flower.
Got that flower.
Smell that flower.
(Jamie inhales) Blow off the petals.
(Jamie blows) And we are going to end with our clap to show our appreciation to one another.
We are going to do one of my favorites.
This is called the whoosh clap.
So you're gonna take all of your positive energy, warm it up in your hands.
And then on the count of three, we're gonna clap and go whoosh, and send it through the screen, from me to you, from you to me.
All right, warm it up.
Three, two, one, (Jamie claps) whoosh.
