‘You can do more stuff,’ said one 6-year-old. Parents, too, weigh in on pediatric vaccine

State officials report that only a little more than half of children ages 12 to 17 have been vaccinated against COVID-19. That’s likely because many parents still remain hesitant about potential side effects. So far, around 52,000 kids in the 5-to-11 age group in New Jersey have been vaccinated.
