NJ health officials are looking at newly-revised federal guidelines that would greatly expand visits at long-term care facilities. With more than 70% of long-term care residents vaccinated, advocates have long pushed for increased visits to end the punishing isolation caused by COVID-19 lockdowns. The state must now decide whether to follow the new guidelines (it has, in the past).
