At a special meeting Thursday night.
Board members voted to repeal the measure that's been in place to prevent schools from outing transgender and non-binary students to their families.
Middletown and three other school boards attempted in 2023 to change their policies to require parental notification if a student changes their gender identity and they were sued by the state attorney general.

But the appellate judges also said the four districts don't have to adopt policy.
Five, seven, five, six and have the option to write their own.
