Starting on May 7, adults on domestic flights will need REAL ID or passport to board

People who are planning to travel by plane this summer may want to add one important item to their checklist -- a REAL ID. Starting May 7, anyone over the age of 18 will need a REAL ID or passport to board U.S. domestic flights. The New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission is launching “REAL ID Thursdays,” offering 4,500 appointments statewide every Thursday throughout March and April.
