Advocates work to get word out that funding and application deadline have been extended
Advocates pounded the pavement Monday to get the word out that more state funding is available for immigrants and others not previously eligible for COVID-19 aid. The Excluded New Jerseyans Fund will stay open past the previous deadline of Monday, and Gov. Phil Murphy announced last week the state would increase its contribution from $10M to $40M. The new deadline to apply is the end of February.
