We asked her about the speculation about Governor Bashir's future and why they're so much interested in him.
Well, first, let me say that I am so proud that our governor has done such an amazing job that he is actually getting some attention on the national stage and the fact that we could potentially have a governor in Kentucky be in the running for vice president is a big deal.
I've been side by side with him this entire time.
I've watched him serve people who've just lost everything.
I've watched him go to bat for vulnerable kids.
I've watched him be, you know, the kind of dad that all families would want.
And I always say he treats every Kentucky family like he's his own.
I've seen that close in person all this time.
So I'm not one bit surprised that that kind of behavior, especially from a politician, has garnered him the credibility that it has.
And it's.
Last week, Lieutenant Governor Coleman said she was prepared to become governor if Governor Bashir moved on to another job.
