He started playing guitar when we were pretty young and I would play the, the drums with, you know, boxes and kitchenware and stuff and I started singing backup for him.
When he would sing a song, I would, I would try to learn a harmony or something and that was the, that was what got me into it, 'cause we were actually making the noises.
When he left for college, I had to try to learn how to play an instrument so that I could keep singing so, but I think that was, that was the first really impactful memory with music, I think.
- [Interviewer] What do you hope your music accomplishes and why do you choose to share it with everybody?
- I don't think it's particularly groundbreaking or anything.
I'm kind of derivative of my favorites.
I wouldn't say that I'm an original artist.
I've, I struggled with for a long time, even saying that I'm an artist.
I kinda just borrow from, from my favorite people and do something that I, that I like.
Once it's out in the world, I put it out and once it's out, I, that's it.
That's how I think about playing songs, playing music is, you do it for yourself mostly.
If somebody likes it, fine.
If they don't, that's fine too.
