But, when we decided to change that name, I was listening to, you know, one of my favorite songs, and the word wildflower was in it.
Yeah, I kind of pitched it, and at first, I think we were all a little bit like, "Oh, I'm not sure, I'm not sure."
And then, when we started to say it as like if we were on stage, like, "We are Wildflower Mind," we all started to kind of like it a little bit more, and I think we kind of found a deeper meaning within the name of wildflowers are constantly growing, and that's what we want to do as a band, we wanna be constantly growing, and constantly improving every day.
- We also feel like the vibrancy that is associated when you think about wildflowers.
We want that to be like translated into the music that we play, music that we make, what we write.
- Honestly, I was never a big fan of the name, - Oh, my gosh.
- But, but.
- We are the first thing that pops up when you search it, so (band members laugh) it's search engine optimized.
You'll always be able to find us.
- But, I guess you could say it's- - That was the biggest selling point for me.
And, obviously, it's grown on me, but.
- Pun intended.
- I was gonna say that.
- Pun intended.
